FAQ

Why didn't I receive an order confirmation/shipping confirmation email?
Often the email for your order confirmation and/or shipping notification will be flagged by spam filters, please check your spam folder to see if this occurred.
Other common situations are that it you pay by PayPal, it will be sent to the email associated with your PayPal account; you entered someone else's/recipient's email instead of your own; or your order has not shipped yet. If you are still unable to locate the email you are looking for, please feel free to email us and we can assist in verifying your order.

Why didn't I qualify for free shipping?
We offer free shipping for any subtotal over $75. If you have applied a discount to the card, your subtotal may have been reduced to below the free-shipping threshold.

When will my product ship?
We strive to ship all orders within 3 business days after the order has been placed. During promotions, sales, or holidays, ship times may be delayed for up to 7 business days. Orders received on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day. Orders containing two or more products may be fulfilled in multiple shipments. If you have any questions about your order, please reach out to us at info@readywares.com at any time.

Can I get expedited shipping?
If you need expedited shipping, please contact us directly at info@readywares.com and we will see what we can do!

Can I change my shipping address?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you realize you've made an error in the shipping address, and we will do our best to accommodate your request, but a change may not be possible. Once your order has already been sent to our warehouse for fulfillment, we are not able to make any adjustments.

What is your shipping policy/method?
Readywares ships most packages using USPS, UPS, FedEx, or Amazon Logistics in order to provide you with a timely delivery. 
We charge a flat rate of $7.50 for orders under $75, and offer free shipping for orders over $75 before tax.

Why can’t I track my shipment?
If you have received an email without tracking information included, please contact us at info@readywares.com. If you are searching your tracking number with no results, please check to see if it starts with TBA, and if so, go to www.swiship.com and enter in  your tracking number to get the status of the item.

My package says it's still in "pre-transit" . Why hasn't it shipped yet?
Occasionally, especially during holidays and peak shipping times, package "tracking history" does not appear in live-time. It is not uncommon for carriers to ship package scans in order to move packages more quickly to their destination. While this can be frustrating, we are unfortunately unable to provide you with any further information on the status of your item.

My package appears to be lost in the mail. Can you help?
If you have not received your item within the expected time frame, please reach out and Readywares can open an investigation on your behalf for the missing shipment. If the shipping carrier loses your original package, please contact us for a replacement no sooner than 30 days after the original shipping date. Readywares will not send replacement items sooner than 30 days after the original shipping date. Please note that Readywares is not responsible for delays in shipping time caused by delays by 3rd party shipping companies, postal depots, freight forwarders, etc.  Due to COVID-19, many shipping carriers have eliminated any delivery guarantees, and also may have added 1-2 business days of delivery time to their standard transport times.

My item says it was delivered, but I don't see it.
Please allow up to 2-business days once your order has been marked "delivered" by the carrier. Sometimes a package will be marked as delivered, but will not show up until a few days later due to issues with the carrier. The item might have also been delivered incorrectly; please check with your neighbors, other household members, or mailroom to determine if the package was misplaced somewhere. If you still cannot find your item, please reach out to us and we will do what we can to assist. Please note that Readywares can’t be held responsible for delivery issues (including delivery to the wrong address, lost / stolen in transit, or delayed by 3rd party shipping companies, postal depots, freight forwarders, etc.)

Can I change my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you realize you would like to make any changes to your order, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, if your order has already been sent to our warehouse for fulfillment, we are not able to make any adjustments to the contents of your package

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we can ship to international destinations. If the shipping option is not available at checkout, please email us at info@readywares.com with the desired items and shipping address, we will get back to you with a customized quote of the shipping cost for your items. International customers are responsible for any customs, duties, taxes, service fees, and brokerage fees which may apply, and may be collected once the package is in-transit.

Can you make me one of your items but a little bit larger/smaller?
Unfortunately Readywares is unable to make customizations to our items for customers. However, the Founders are always open to new ideas, please send your idea to us at info@readywares.com and it will be added to a list of future design ideas

Can I return this item?
We accept returns for domestic orders within 15 days of purchase. Customer is responsible for paying return shipping fees. Returned products must be unused and complete with original packaging. Readywares reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the product is returned beyond 15 days of purchase, if it is returned without original packaging, or if it is worn or damaged. Unfortunately we are unable to accept returns for international orders.

Please note: We are only able to process returns/exchanges on items purchased directly from Readywares, through readywares.com, Readywares' Amazon store, or Readywares' Etsy Store. If you purchased one of our items from another retailer, you need to contact that retailer for all return/exchange requests.

My product is defective, what should I do?
Regardless of where you purchased your product, if you receive a defective item, or the product fails due to a manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as possible. Email info@readywares.com a picture of the defect and proof-of-purchase of the item. We will evaluate the defect and either repair or replace the product.

Are your products made in the USA?
One of Readywares founding tenants was to make products that are built tough, ready for years of hard use, and at an accessible price to our customers. In order to accomplish this, the design work is done in Seattle, WA by the owners or Readywares, and manufacturing occurs overseas. 
The owners work closely with our overseas manufacturer and have visited the site to ensure that the people at the factories producing our products receive fair wages and treatment. Even though the production of our items occurs overseas, the materials used have been specifically chosen for quality and durability. We recognize that many people associate overseas manufacturing with low quality materials and construction, which is why Readywares products use intentionally chosen quality waxed cotton canvas and durable brass YKK zippers in order to ensure that the product you receive is practical, enjoyable to use, and built to last. If the product you receive has a manufacturing defect, or any other issue, we are here to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase from Readywares.
